Join the Kenmore Inn and Castle Hill Cidery for a unique food-cider dining experience.

The Kenmore Inn will combine five courses prepared with Virginia’s own award-winning Castle Hill Ciders for an exciting exploration of tastes. Chef’s food will be paired with a wide range of the fermented fruit for an evening that will intrigue the senses and delight your pallet. Each individual pairing will be described offering insider insights why certain food flavors are paired with a given ciders.

Prices are $85 per person, not including tax and gratuity.

Appreciate Something Different

Roasted Butternut Squash and Braised Mixed Greens Salad with Candied Pumpkin Seeds, Brulee of Goat Cheese, and a Shallot and Cider Vinaigrette

-Terrestrial 2016-

Bone dry and aromatic, with a nose of fresh apples and a hint of peach that follows through on the palate. Blend on Winesap, Albemarle Pippin, and Grimes Golden apples.

Hot Smoked King Salmon with Rosemary Green Apple puree and Roasted Golden Beets*

-Celestial 2016-
Stellar fruit, floral and spice aromas with a foundation of supple tannins. Bittersweet and heirloom apples provide a bright acidity and clean palate to this sparkling off-dry cider.

Quail with Herb Brioche Stuffing and Serendipity Cider Demi Glace*

-Serendipity 2015-
A bright, fresh cider made from Albemarle Pippin apples, a process of arrested fermentation preserves a bit of the apples’ natural sweetness.

Braised Lamb Shank with Grilled Pear and Shallot Salad, Dijon Lamb Jus

-Levity-

Aromas of caramel, lemon zest, black cherry, almond and guava.  In the mouth, it is very full bodied with both astringent and bitter tannins, flavors of honey and tangerine and a very fresh preserved lemon finish.

Dark Chocolate Mousse with Gorgonzola Short bread Cookies and Port Finished Cider reduction
