Cancellations made 4 days prior to arrival will be made free of charge.
Cancellations made 1-3 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the entire stay.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will be charged the entire cost of the first night’s stay plus 50% of the remaining balance.
For group reservations, (4-9 rooms booked) cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to arrival. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $25 per room
We welcome our guests to check in at 2:00 PM or later. If you are going to arrive late, (after 8 PM) please notify us in advance.
Please check out of your room by 11:00 AM. If you would like to extend your departure time, please check with the Innkeeper on duty to see if we can accommodate.
Late check outs must be approved by management. If prior approval is not given, a charge of 50% of the room reservation cost will be applied to the final bill.
The Kenmore Inn is a very popular venue for various private events, such as weddings, receptions, dinner parties, etc. The Kenmore Inn does its very best to ensure the comfort of our guests. However, there is a chance there may be an event booked during your stay with us.We will do everything possible to ensure your comfort, but cannot be held solely accountable for the actions of guests in attendance of such events. If this is a concern of yours when making your reservation, please let Guest Services know and they will be glad to advise and guide you to the room most suitable for your comfort.
Free parking is available on the streets that border the building. Princess Anne Street and Lewis Street offer the closest access to the Inn. Please be mindful of signs and one-way street traffic flow of the downtown area.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the building. Failure to comply with this policy will result in an immediate $250 cleaning fee. Feel free to use our designated smoking areas located on the front porch and garden patio where you will find ashtrays available.
Each of our guest rooms is equipped with private heating and air, which you may adjust to your comfort.
After 8:00 PM, use the keyless entrance located on the side of the building that borders Lewis Street. The key code for the lock is provided for you upon check in. When the green light is flashing, you can operate the locking mechanism. Turn the lock right to lock, and left to unlock.
After Hour Emergencies
During the evening, a Nighttime Innkeeper works in the back office, located by the Lewis Street entrance. Please contact this staff member in case of an emergency.
A seasonal feature in our luxury rooms only, fires may be lit by management staff on duty until 8:00 p.m. Fires are offered exclusively during the colder months (November to March).
For any additional in-room guests (above the double occupancy) a charge of $20 per guest will be automatically added to the final bill. This fee covers breakfast, extra towels and linens, as well as housekeeping services after departure.
As a safety precaution, refrain from lighting candles (or anything else) in your room.
