The Mark Twain Society of Virginia (MTSV) was founded in 2004 at Fredericksburg, Virginia. The purpose of the Society is the enjoyment of the memory and work and time of Samual Langhorne Clemens via dinners, lectures, book readings, music, and actors. There is no requirement to know anything about Twain and his era in order to attend MTSV events, but it is suggested that attendees be the type of persons who enjoy good food, good wine, and good conversation.
The MTSV has been associated with the Kenmore Inn since the MTSV's inception and most MTSV events are hosted there. When you visit the Inn, please make sure to see the Mark Twain Room on the first floor
Inner Circle Members:
Interested parties who have attended at least one MTSV event and who request to be placed on the Inner Circle list will become Inner Circle members and receive the privilege af advanced notice of events and discounts on the cost of attendance.
